Position Details

  • Position: Graphics & Video Editor Intern (Remote)
  • Duration: 3 Months (extension & conversion based on performance)
  • Location: Work from Home* (Occasional Office Visits with Travel Allowances)
  • Stipend: 5000 INR per month
  • Letter of Recommendation: Provided upon successful completion
  • Join Date: Between 05-Feb-2025 to 25-Feb-2025

Responsibilities

Graphic Design:

  • Create visually appealing graphics for news updates, promotional materials, and community campaigns.
  • Develop custom illustrations and layouts that align with the JKDaily brand identity.

Video Production & Editing:

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for our website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms.
  • Assist in creating engaging content, including interviews, cultural features, and sustainability initiatives like tree plantation drives.

Photography & Fieldwork:

  • Act as a cameraman for on-field news updates, interviews, community initiatives, and events.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos showcasing JKDaily’s contributions to the region.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the social media and content teams to align visuals with the overall content strategy.
  • Provide creative input on campaigns and new video series ideas.

Community Impact:

  • Help design campaigns that raise awareness and foster unity, sustainability, and cultural appreciation in the region.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar tools.
  • Experience with video editing software and animation tools.
  • Knowledge of basic camera operations and photography principles.

Creative Skills:

  • Strong eye for design, detail, and storytelling.
  • Ability to create content that resonates with the target audience.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for creating impactful content.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Jammu & Kashmir’s culture, issues, and community dynamics is a bonus.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or portfolio of work is highly desirable.
