Position Details

  • Position: Content Strategy and Partnerships Manager
  • Duration: Full Time
  • Location: Hybrid (Travel Allowances and Other Expenses Provided Separately)
  • Compensation: 25000 INR per month
  • Join Date: Flexible within Q1 2025

Responsibilities

Content Strategy Development:

  • Plan, oversee, and execute JKDaily’s content strategy, ensuring alignment with our vision and mission.
  • Identify emerging trends and topics relevant to the region and craft editorial themes to address them.
  • Coordinate with content creators, ensuring high-quality and impactful articles, reports, and multimedia content.

Partnership Development:

  • Build and maintain relationships with recruiting partners, NGOs, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify potential collaborators for co-branded campaigns and initiatives.
  • Negotiate partnerships to enhance JKDaily’s visibility, credibility, and community impact.

Team Leadership:

  • Guide content creators, editors, and interns in achieving editorial goals.
  • Mentor team members to improve their skills and maintain consistent output quality.

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee content-driven campaigns, including those promoting sustainability, political accountability, and cultural awareness.
  • Collaborate with the graphics and social media teams to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and SEO best practices.

Strategic Skills:

  • Proven experience in content strategy and editorial planning.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on partnership opportunities.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Leadership and team-building skills to drive a motivated and productive team.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Jammu & Kashmir’s socio-political context and cultural dynamics.
  • Prior experience in media, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
