Position Details

  • Position: Content & Social Media Coordinator Intern (Remote)
  • Duration: 3 Months (extension & conversion based on performance)
  • Location: Work from Home* (Occasional Office Visits with Travel Allowances)
  • Stipend: 5000 INR per month
  • Letter of Recommendation: Provided upon successful completion
  • Join Date: Between 05-Feb-2025 to 25-Feb-2025

Responsibilities

Social Media Management:

  • Manage and maintain the content calendar for JKDaily’s social media platforms.
  • Post content consistently across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to improve reach and performance.

Content Coordination:

  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure timely delivery of high-quality posts.
  • Oversee the upload and management of job listings and user data on the platform.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with users by responding to comments, queries, and messages across platforms.
  • Actively participate in user interaction to foster a sense of community and trust.

Trend Monitoring:

  • Stay updated on regional and global trends to identify opportunities for viral or relevant content.
  • Suggest innovative ideas for content and campaigns to keep JKDaily dynamic and appealing.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the graphics, video, and content strategy teams to align posts with JKDaily’s mission and campaigns.
  • Assist in executing online campaigns, such as awareness drives or promotional initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools.
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools, such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics.

Creative Skills:

  • Strong writing and editing abilities to craft engaging captions and posts.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on social media trends.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the culture, language, and issues of Jammu & Kashmir is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience managing social media accounts or community engagement is a bonus.
